Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Afyon Kocatepe University (AKU) has taken a great deal of actions to minimize the impacts of this crisis on students and staff and is trying handle new daily challenges. AKU is responsible for keeping all members of academic community safe.

All courses and exams have been carried out online this semester through Distance Learning Center and necessary improving measures are being taken on this system. The safety measures in classroom and campuses have been taken for the next semester which will start in September. Within this framework, periodical disinfection of the classrooms, buildings, library and other common places are being made.

Students are being informed about hygiene and social distance rules though posters, banners, etc. and hand disinfectant equipments are being set at the entrance of each buildings and related corners. All administrative and academic staff are being informed about the safety measures and work places have been arranged according to the hygiene and social distance rules.

We would like to inform you that we will continue to provide you with all the necessary information and support for the next semester. We are now experiencing some relaxation in order to gradually return to our regular activities. Nevertheless, no one exactly knows how the situation will evolve or what impact this situation may have on next semester.
